More than 3,000 Faith Leaders Urge Members of Congress to Oppose the First Amendment Defense Act

Today, more than 3,000 clergy members and faith leaders wrote to members of Congress in opposition to the First Amendment Defense Act. The letter, organized by Bend the Arc in partnership with Auburn Seminary, notes that this legislation “does not respect the spirit of religious liberty—nor does it reflect fundamental values of treating all people with fairness and equality.”
