New York, NY – Bend the Arc has joined “friend of the court” briefs opposing President Donald Trump’s revised Muslim and refugee ban on the grounds that it is an unambiguous and unconstitutional attempt to single out members of a religious group for discrimination based solely upon their religion, in cases before the Fourth Circuit and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
Los Angeles, CA –Activists from Bend the Arc Jewish Action today joined local faith leaders, the immigrant community, civil rights advocates, and other Muslim, Christian and Jewish activists in leading an act of civil disobedience to protest harsh immigration enforcement policies in Los Angeles and around the country.
